The universe in the game contains varying types of planets, each can be visited and possibly colonized. These are spherical objects that can be visited using a hyperdrive and then flying into them. All planets will have unique temperatures and colors, Custom Resources and soon more planned unique features such as alien life, and structures. These planets have chances to have rings. There are an estimated 10,000 planets in the universe.
