The Obelisk is an part used to quickly spawn aliens in any region, excluding starter planets. The obelisk must be anchored and facing towards the sky. When powered, the obelisk will shoot a glowing green beam into the sky and, after 5 minutes pass, will spawn several aliens. Only one will affect a region at a time, and works on both planets and in space.
In-game description
"An object designed to attract aliens to the region. Emits an ominous noise when powered. Must be anchored and powered in order to function. Must also be open to the sky. Only one obelisk in a region can be powered at a time. When active, it attracts an Alien every 300 seconds. Use at your own risk."
