View of a "Fodder" alien ship

Aliens are hostile unmanned ships run by a Microcontroller. They rarely spawn around stars and planets. Aliens spawn more commonly around black holes and neutron stars. Aliens can also be spawned with an obelisk. They currently come in 2 variants, Fodder and Fighter aliens. However, in the unstable version of the game, it has the Alien Capital as an additional variant.

Fodder Alien[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]

    Appearance[edit | hide | edit source]

The Fodder Alien consists of black iron boxes with iron wedges on the top and bottom sides, as well as a set of wedge "wings". Fodders have 2 Lasers and a BurstLaser. The inside of a Fodder alien contains 1 AlienCore, a LifeSensor, along other various electronics that control the alien, a thruster, and multiple PowerCells

    Behavior[edit | hide | edit source]

Fodder ships spawn in a group of up to 1-5. A Fodder will fly towards the location it last detected the player with it's LifeSensor. It will then stop and repeat this pattern of movement untill the player is out of range or dead. The Fodder's 2 Lasers turn on automatically when it spawns and they stay on as long as the alien has the power to supply them. The BurstLaser activates as soon as the alien has detected a player. The Fodder's Aim is guided by a Gyro and LifeSensor

The code inside of a Fodder Alien's Microcontroller can be found here.

    Spawn rates[edit | hide | edit source]

Proof of a developer saying the spawn rates

Aliens can be spawned in 2 different ways. The first way is to simply wait around, as every 30 minutes there is a chance that aliens will spawn in. This probability varies, with it being 35% in Black Hole or Neutron Star regions, and 2.5% elsewhere. An alternative way of spawning aliens is by summoning them with an Obelisk, 1-5 Fodders and no or 1 Fighter will spawn every 5 minutes in the region where an Obelisk is powered.

    Fighter Alien[edit | hide | edit source]

View of a "Fighter" alien ship

    Appearance[edit | hide | edit source]

Fighters are slightly bigger than Fodder aliens, consisting of 2 iron boxes. The box on the front is purely decorative, and has 2 "pincers" made out of iron wedges. The box in the middle has a thin coating of Titanium on it, but is otherwise made out of iron. On its backside there are 3 thrusters, the mid thruster being the biggest while the two to it's sides being smaller. Fighters have 2 BurstLasers and 2 PlasmaCannons. The inside of a Fighter alien contains 2 AlienCores, a LifeSensor and various other parts like a Microcontroller that controls the alien, 3 thrusters, a singular PowerCell, an EnergyShield and most notably, 3 Bins containing random amounts of loot alongside a Helium Container.

    Behavior[edit | hide | edit source]

Fighters have similar behavior to Fodders, except they are far rarer as there are only one or two in a given obelisk summon. They fly towards a nearby player, stop, and fire both Burstlasers and Lasers at a nearby player. Usually due to their low power count (only one powercell) they often end up running out of energy before they can do any damage.

Possible Bin Loot[edit | hide | edit source]

    Capital[edit | hide | edit source]

    Appearance[edit | hide | edit source]

Capitals are larger than all previous classes, consisting of a complex hull. The entire ship is decked out with weapons carrying 32 lasers, 4 autolasers, 4 burstlasers, and 3 plasma cannons. They mount the EnergyShield and currently only spawn in the unstable version of the game. They may carry 10 bins of loot and 10 cores. It has a few pieces of neutronium armor while the rest is plated titanium, it has a high speed compared to the other aliens and a lot of power. The Capital is much more durable than the other two classes. It also has two large interior compartments under it's armor, and neutronium casings where the AlienCores will likely be, five on each floor.

    Behavior[edit | hide | edit source]

The capital acts much similar to the other aliens except much larger and dangerous. It's speed and firepower could easily decimate anyone trying to farm aliens who is tabbed out or not paying attention and doesn't have some sort of alien detection device.

    Notes[edit | hide | edit source]

The EnergyShield is highly recommended if not required to even stand a chance unless a ship is extremely small and fast as a large, slow ship would be an easy target for this vessel. Guns are heavily recommended but still may find trouble downing the ship due to the plated armor and speed. It is discouraged to try and farm aliens with a spaceship before obtaining an Obelisk and or EnergyShield as it will likely ignite any solar panels on the ship and outspeed it. Explosives, which are used for missiles may deal negligible damage unless they directly hit it's engines due to the plated armor and the fact it would likely atomize any missile fired from in front of it. Random materials are also discouraged due to the proximity you would need to get, the plated armor, and the fact it has mainly titanium armor but a good quantity of neon and small bits of neutronium on and in it's hull.

    Tips[edit | hide | edit source]

    • Use an EnergyShield, the aliens cannot hurt you as they only use energy-based weapons (As long as the alien in question is outside of the energyshield)
    • Explosives and WirelessButtons are good against aliens, as they are relatively cheap and can explode multiple (bunched up) aliens at once.
    • If you have a randomly generated resource that can explode when it comes in contact with iron, use that against aliens to destroy their hull and inner components.
    • Aliens have limited power and no way of regaining power. You can stop aliens from flying by waiting until they run out of energy.
    • Aliens despawn upon the player(s) in the server leaving and rejoining.
    • Shoot the middle thruster of the Fighter as it is actually the only thruster that activates on it.

    Trivia[edit | hide | edit source]

    • The early concept of Alien Capital was created by ROBLOX user Endurance1229, a player obsessed with improving the aliens and introducing more classes.
