A VehicleSeat is one of the major components of a ship or rotating structure, it allows the player to rotate the object - if the object is not anchored. The VehicleSeat has 3 modes, 0, 1 and 2. Mode 0 allows it to rotate horizontally, mode 1 (the default mode) allows it to rotate in horizontally and vertically and mode 2 makes it aim at the players mouse when clicked. The VehicleSeat can also send trigger signals with a key bind if it has a button configured to have a letter attached to it. There is a small black line at the front of the VehicleSeat indicating the orientation of the player when they sit in it.
In-game description
"Allows players to control vehicles by rotating when sat on. It is incredibly important to have when creating vehicles. The vehicleseat has 2 modes. Mode 0 allows it to only rotate horizontally. Mode 1 allows it to rotate both horizontally and vertically. Mode 2 points the vehicle seat towards the player's mouse when holding click. Attaching buttons to the vehicleseat will allow the player sitting on it to trigger the button by pressing a key. Simply attach the button to the vehicle seat, configure it to the keybind you would like, and it will allow you to trigger that button by pressing the key when sitting down in the seat."

Trivia
- The VehicleSeat can be used with hinges connected to something anchored to make a turret. However, a bug may cause it to freak out and fling into the abyss.
- The VehicleSeat changes the state of unanchored objects and will act like a gyro, it will point in one direction and will not turn if it is pushed in any direction.
