Stan is a N.P.C. that will only spawn at night, there have been rumors of its spawn rate being higher on Tundra planets, he is not confirmed to exist, as all images are very blurry. It's also claimed to disappear whenever you get close to him or look at him for a long period of time, although it isn't confirmed.
Stan was claimed to be removed in the April Fools 2021 Update.
Stan was claimed to be re-implemented in the April Fools 2023 Update.
Stan was claimed to be removed in the Unstable update, 2022-09-19, said to be a bug.
Reportedly, in the April Fools 2023 Update, there were stanleys [sic] that attempted to kill the player using StanSword.
Stan's behavior is unknown other than him appearing far away and only at night.
There are rumors that Stan can be placed on parts, or edited as if he were a part himself.
From the 5th image on the page currently, Stan may be able to float, as such he might be anchored and move simply via position updating rather than MoveTo( ).

There are rumors Stan can appear in space.
There are rumors that if you kill Stan, he will drop Stanlium, which when set on fire would create a StanSword.
Appearance
Stan resembles Stan from Identity Fraud, having 2 red eyes and a pitch black body.
It is unknown whether or not Stan approaches the player.
