    ==== Real description ====
    Neutron stars are one of the last stages of a dying star, known as a remanent. They are also very small in size, biggest being 30km in diameter. The microscopic size makes the elements that compose the star much much denser. It comes in the same category with white dwarfs and [[Black Hole|black holes]]. They usually form when a super-massive red giant star that with of 10-20 solar (sun) masses collapses into a super nova. Similarly with a black hole, neutron stars have a fairly visible event horizon around them bending light. There are many types of neutron stars ranging from regular neutron stars, pulsars, magnetars or both.

Our sun will turn into a common white dwarf in it's dying stages as a main sequence star, not a neutron star since the mass is very low.

    A neutron star.

    Neutron stars are a special type of star. They can be used to gain Neutronium (a rare resource) via SolarScoop.

    Along with Black Hole regions, Neutron Star regions are one of the best places to hunt Aliens as they have a 35% chance of spawning every 30 minutes in them. Solar scoop can extract 60 Helium, 15 Plasma, 45 Hydrogen, 20 Iron, (1 Neutronium per ~2 minutes) from it.

    In-game characteristics[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]

    The presence of this body on the starmap has an appearance of a light-blue color. They consist of two giant cones on the top and bottom sides of the stars, known as Pulsars. they are the best stars in the galaxy for solar panels because they are the brightest stars and thus giving the most power.
