Ice is a common resource Found in mountains or ice asteroids, it is slippery and has very low friction.
Ice can be melted in a Melter to obtain Water for Hydroponics or Steam-based power generation, this is often the only way to obtain water in space or on Barren planets. The rate of extraction of ice from mountains or ice asteroids is the same. It is also possible do the inverse operation (Turning Water into Ice) Using a Freezer but this is practically useless.
Two Extractors set to Ice
and four Melters is enough to supply a Reactor at 1000F.
