Question about the fan lore[edit source | hide | hide all]
Greetings, Is the lore included on the main page canon or not? I am asking so I know if adding "Fan lore" is required. I looked at the edit history for the main page, and it seems it was added by a (now former) developer of the game, which made me think it is cannon. Was this never the case? Request for extensions[edit source | hide]
Hello, as I've noticed that you were active on the wiki recently, I suppose this is the right time to make such a request. I believe the wiki is in need of a few extensions. I've compiled a short list of them, along with the reasoning for them.
- API
- ShortDescription - Makes search better
- Media handlers
- 3d - May be used for 3d part previews (in the infoboxes) in the future
- EmbedVideo - Will be used in the upcoming programming tutorial to showcase examples of programming in waste of space. May also be used elsewhere later.
- Parser hooks
- AJAX Poll - Will be used in annual wiki surveys to identify problems.
- Quiz - Will be used in the programming tutorial to test the reader's knowledge.
- Other
- Flex diagrams - Will be used in the programming tutorial for making diagrams of algorithms.
- HideSection - Quality of life
- Popups - Quality of life
- PageNotice - Will replace templates such as Template:CommunityWarning.
Out of convenience or if you somehow didn't know, here's a link to where you can manage them.
I was also thinking of maybe skinning the wiki. If you agree, installing (not enabling) the Cititzen skin would also be nice. I'd then tweak it to match the WoS colour scheme and such.
