The StarMap is a part that displays nearby stars and planets with their coordinates. It is essential for full use of the Telescope and Hyperdrive. It requires electricity to show its display.
StarMap is an Instrument Object that appears very similar to Radar, but it can display Star System and a Galaxy depending on Coordinates.

There are 2 modes which you can change the display on it: Star System (containing planets), and a Galaxy (Star neighborhood).
Click on the mode button to change the display between Solar Systems (containing planets) and Nearby Star Displays (having nearby Stars and Black Holes without planets).

However, you should pair StarMap with a Telescope and HyperDrive next to it to ensure you click on planets in a StarMap so Telescope and HyperDrive are changing coordinates properties.
Clicking on a planet or star in solar system mode will automatically set the coordinates of any attached Telescopes or HyperDrives to that location.
