Resources are things you use to craft items or build with. Resources sometimes may be used for weaponry, for example Sulfur becomes mustard gas or explosives.
This is a list of most resources:
Spawn planet resources
These resources are resources found/crafted on spawn planets, and do not need space travel to acquire.
- Iron, an incredibly important part for building and crafting.
- Copper, The most important, as its needed for electricity, your base should be near a copper supply.
- Coal, Used for burner generators and steam power.
- Stone, A rather useful early game building material. Used in some crafting recipes.
- Quartz, A material mined randomly from rocks, used in many electronics.
- Sulfur - Used to make PowerCells, which are needed to make the Ion rocket.
- Ruby - Used for building and some advanced crafting recipes.
- Flint - A useful material mined from rocks. Very useful for starting fires early game.
- Silicon - Used for many electronic and wiring-related parts.
- Helium - Mined from Stone randomly.
- Water - Used for steam power, cooling, and a few crafting recipes.
- Oil - Used for many different forms of power and some crafting recipes, comes from stone.
- Oxygen - A gas, not very useful yet.
- Stick - Harvested from trees; not very useful on its own, but can be used to craft.
- Wood - A basic resource used in some crafting recipes and for basic structures.
- Rubber - Very useful for crafting and building. Has multiple special properties.
- Magnesium - A part used in crafting and fire-making. Burns very bright, but doesn't last long.
- Snow - Can be melted into Water.
- Ice - A solid block of ice. Used for physical machines.
- Sand - A pile of Sand. Not useful on its own, however it can be turned to Glass using a Kiln.
- Glass - Made of sand, very useful for building and a few crafting recipes.
Out-of-world resources
These resources are resources that are off world, and require space travel to acquire, making them more difficult to obtain than spawn planet resources
- Uranium - Used for reactors, quite useful and toxic to humans nearby.
- Aluminum - Used for ion drives and other technology. Very malleable, making it useful for larger structures.
- Diamond - A rare gem used in lasers and certain other advanced recipes.
- Hydrogen - Comes from stars. Used in advanced applications.
- Jade - A rare gem used in several high-level recipes.
- Gold - Rare and used in DarkConvertors/Reactors.
- Titanium - Used in dark convertors/reactors, and is very strong, making it useful for armor.
- Neutronium - An insanely strong, rare material harvestable from neutron stars.
- ExoticMatter - An insanely rare resource only used for end-game applications.
- DarkMatter - A very rare resource from black holes. used for end-game gameplay.
Alien Resources
These are resources are randomized and can be found randomly on planets. They vary in malleability, durability, and appearance. Sometimes, they can produce power and react with certain materials.
Juicitide - Generates 3 watts of power when attached to a
Jupide - Generates 14 watts of power when attached to a
Harium - Iron, but yellow. Found in rings of a planet
Vofire - Rust, but explodes if it touches charcoal, found in rings of a gas giant
