The sole purpose of a melter is to revert ice into its liquid state (water), completely opposite to that of a freezer. Appearance has that of a container with a ventilation system on the top.
It is required to have an ice bin connected to it and electricity (5 ppt) in order to function correctly. One side should have a chute and the other should have a pipe connecting to a container to ensure not losing water.
