The EnergyGun is a part that fires powerful bursts of energy. Unlike the gun, it uses energy to fire shots rather than iron, and the power and damage of its shots, as well as its fire rate, are determined by the size of the energy gun, so a smaller weapon will fire faster but weaker shots.
