The ChemicalSynthiser is a removed part, however it can still be found on old planets with it. It could synthesise various chemicals like carbon (I think?) however all of them kill you if you drink them. It did not require power. Due to the way this games code works I'm pretty sure if you are in a region with one it will automatically delete itself.
If anyone has high quality images of the GUI or the part itself please provide them.
