The Winch is a part that controls attached ropes when triggered and activated by a polysilicon.

To make it work, you must use hammer tool, click on CJoint tab, click on a pulley first and click on another part in order to connect a rope from a winch to a part. Connect a polysilicon and a button to a pulley to control the length of the rope.
