Terra is a type of planet similar to Earthlike; they share similar biomes and appearance, but the colour, gravity, temperature, and other attributes vary from planet to planet.

==Features==
Terra planets feature a range of biomes, namely tundra, desert, plains, and ocean. There are resource nodes and mountains scattered across the land, and unlike Earthlikes planets, also contain random and additional materials, like Titanium.

* Terra planets have varying terrain split up into continents. Continents are surrounded by sandy shores and oceans, often beside steep cliffs. They have several biomes.
Snow, grass, wood, and water are all present on terra planets, and can be obtained without using hydroponics and melters.
* As with Earthlike planets, terra planets have tundra, desert, and grassy biomes. These are spread throughout the planet. Vegetation is present on these planets, but is obviously not available in desert or tundra biomes. Trees can grow either tall or short, and come in a variety of shapes.
* Mountains are frequent and tall, often being bunched up in groups. Ores are moderately abundant, and any of the ores from the standard set of ores can generate.
* Their conditions are almost always hospitable, as their temperature stays within a pretty constant (livable) range and their atmospheres are mostly breathable.
* Their oceans' seabeds are featureless and do not contain any ore unlike on Ocean planets.

== Colonization ==
The tint of grass, sand, snow, stone, and water is entirely random and you are likely to come across bizarre landscapes.
Terra planets are great for beginners, or those wanting an easier time successfully colonizing a planet. They may also prove advantageous for setting up temporary colonies due to their mild conditions.

It is arguably the best planet type for a colony, as it accommodates multiple climates while maintaining a lukewarm temperature, and you do not have to set up different machines to gather unavailable materials.

Their hospitable conditions make it painless to build out factories. Their resources should be enough to accommodate a small-medium factory, though resource transportation may initially prove slightly difficult due to the tendency of resources to be spread out on these types of planets (the use of Transporters all but eliminates this problem).

Terra planets are frequently hospitable planets with differing biomes and terrain.

Features[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]

• Terra planets have varying terrain split up into continents. Continents are surrounded by sandy shores and oceans, often beside steep cliffs. They have several biomes.
• As with Earthlike planets, terra planets have tundra, desert, and grassy biomes. These are spread throughout the planet. Vegetation is present on these planets, but is obviously not available in desert or tundra biomes. Trees can grow either tall or short, and come in a variety of shapes.
• Mountains are frequent and tall, often being bunched up in groups. Ores are moderately abundant, and any of the ores from the standard set of ores can generate.
• Their conditions are almost always hospitable, as their temperature stays within a pretty constant (livable) range and their atmospheres are mostly breathable.
• Their oceans' seabeds are featureless and do not contain any ore unlike on Ocean planets.

Colonization[edit | hide | edit source]

Terra planets are great for beginners, or those wanting an easier time successfully colonizing a planet. They may also prove advantageous for setting up temporary colonies due to their mild conditions.

Their hospitable conditions make it painless to build out factories. Their resources should be enough to accommodate a small-medium factory, though resource transportation may initially prove slightly difficult due to the tendency of resources to be spread out on these types of planets (the use of Transporters all but eliminates this problem).
