The StudAligner is a part that composes an arrow image on its top side as an appearance. It uses to level out and rotate any structures (such as a spaceship) connected back for the angles of each direction to face the front view of the sky, and make connected anchors freeze the parts. It is usually essential for vehicles and spaceship alternative controls.

When either clicked on it or triggered, its color will turn yellow for a short time. After the StudAligner turned back into white as the process was done, the structures connected by the 'StudAligner' rotated back for each direction's angles to zero (you can use an instrument with 'Orientation' mode to see a display how the structure's rotation turns back into zero for each direction by StudAligner) and slightly moved, and the connected anchors will make the parts freeze to prevent falling.

It will not work if the anchor made the parts connected freeze and immovable. You must click on an anchor first if it is turned red, and then you can click on 'StudAligner' for use. It will also not work if it is placed on either the ground terrain or an asteroid, make sure StudAligner is unanchored, pushable and moveable by holding 'ctrl' key while dragging with a hammer tool.

    In-game Description

"An integral part for creating vehicles, it aligns them to be viable for saving. This is important due to a bug in roblox called 'part shift' in which precision of numbers is lost during saving. As a result, parts will move a tiny bit, which results in dramatic changes to a vehicle. This part solves that, by alligned the vehicle to a whole number position, allowing it to be saved properly. Make sure the arrow is facing up. To stud align your vehicle, make sure it is unanchored and simply trigger the stud alligner. Once it aligns the vehicle, it will anchor all anchors attached. Make sure to also allign at a viable and proper place to prevent any noclip glitches during alignment. "
