The Polysilicon is a part that is used to interact with toggle-able objects, such as the switch and valve. It is mainly used as a connection to interact between trigger wires and triggering objects as the inputs and objects as the outputs.
Uses[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]
It is fundamental to many systems, and can be used for many purposes. (Such as interacting with a Reactor or turning on a Microcontroller)
There are 3 different modes that the polysilicon can be set to:
- Mode 0 "Activate" : Activates objects
- Mode 1 "Deactivate" : Deactivates objects
- Mode 2 "Flipflop": Toggles objects on or off (On -> Off / Off -> On) (May not function with every object that can be turned On or Off)
There is also a Frequency
property which just defines how many times the Polysilicon will send its signal.
In-game Description[edit | hide | edit source]
"A special electronic material used to send special signals to certain objects. Has a special configuration called Frequency which dictates how many times the polysilicon will repeat a trigger. For example, if a polysilicon was attached to a pulley, having a frequency of 5 and triggered, the pulley will be activated 5 times."
Configuration[edit | hide | edit source]
- PolysiliconMode(selection) - The mode of the Polysilicon. Each mode results in different behaviors for objects.
- Frequency(number) [1 - 10] - The amount of times to activate the Polysilicon from a single trigger.
