    Neutron stars are one of the last stages of a dying star, known as a remanent. They are also very small in size, biggest being 30km in diameter. The microscopic size makes the elements that compose the star much much denser. It comes in the same category with white dwarfs and [[Black Hole|black holes]]. They usually form when a super-massive red giant star that with of 10-20 solar (sun) masses collapses into a super nova. Similarly with a black hole, neutron stars have a fairly visible event horizon around them bending light. There are many types of neutron stars ranging from regular neutron stars, pulsars, magnetars or both.
