    Earthlikes have lots of resources and look almost identical to most [[terra]] planets. These planets are often very laggy due to high population, so it is encouraged that players leave the spawn planets as soon as they build a ship or join up with others to find a new base location.

    * Earthlike planets have mostly flat terrain with interspersed hills and valleys. Mountains are common, and come both grouped and isolated.
    The universe randomly selects 3 earthlike planets as places for new players to spawn in, and every day a new spawn planet will be added and the oldest planet will be removed from the menu
    * Terrain is grouped into continents, which are surrounded by sandy shores. Mildly inclined slopes lead to these from the mainland. Cliffs are possible, but rare.
    * They lack the ability to generate all of the standard resources. They only generate with [[Coal]], [[Iron]], and [[Copper]] nodes. These are moderately abundant on their surface.
    * Earthlikes generate with several biomes. This mostly just determines the material that part of their surface is made of, and the availability of vegetation. Vegetation is spread throughout, and is always green grass and tall, thick trees.
    * Earthlike have the possibility of becoming a starter planet. That is, players may be able to freely spawn on them using the menu.

    == Colonization ==
    Earthlikes only have basic metallic resources. Despite the various (less useful) other resources you can find on these planets, they only have iron, copper, coal, and a few other resources. You will not find advanced resources like Titanium on these worlds, so it is advised to explore other planets.
    Players colonize earthlike planets when they start playing the game. While later colonization is possible, it doesn't provide much value due to their limited resources.

    == Trivia ==
    There are five starter planets available on the main menu for any player to choose from. There will always be earthlike planets, and any earthlike can become a starter planet.

    * A starter planet will stay on the menu for three days. After that, a new one will be selected based on these conditions:
    ** The planet must be an earthlike.
    ** The planet must not orbit a black hole.
    ** The planet must not be tidally locked.

    Starter planets usually have the highest player count in the game.
