The 2023 April Fools' update was the 3rd annual April Fools' Day event in Waste of Space. The precise time at which it started and ended is not (currently) known: it started somewhere in the afternoon on the 1st of April (EST), and ended on the 2nd. It is also known as the "NERD" event.
The two dominant themes of the event were Stan and NERDS. Stanlium, NERD goggles and the stansword were obtainable in-game during the event. Stanleys were also added to the game. As with the other April Fools' updates, players were able to obtain a badge ("Became a NERD").
